We Help Businesses Find Their Footing in Uncertain Markets

Since 2018, we've been working alongside Australian businesses that need practical financial guidance during periods of change. No corporate jargon. Just straightforward advice from people who understand what it's like when your business model stops working.

Founded 2018 Based in Robina, QLD Real Business Focus

Started Because Traditional Consulting Wasn't Cutting It

Back in 2018, I noticed something odd. Business owners would pay thousands for financial consulting, get a beautiful report, and then... nothing would actually change. They'd still be stuck with the same problems six months later.

So harvioneqalu started differently. We work with businesses facing real adaptation challenges — market shifts, cash flow problems, operational bottlenecks. The kind of stuff that keeps you up at 3am wondering if you should just pack it in.

We're not here to sell you a silver bullet. But we can usually spot where the leaks are and help you figure out what to do about them. Sometimes that means restructuring debt. Other times it's about changing how you price things or who you sell to.

What Actually Guides Our Work

These aren't poster slogans. They're how we decide what to do when things get complicated.

Numbers Don't Lie

We base recommendations on actual financial data, not gut feelings or industry buzzwords. If the numbers say your pricing model is broken, we'll tell you straight.

Your Business Context Matters

What works for a tech startup doesn't work for a family manufacturing business. We adjust strategies based on your actual situation, not textbook theory.

Speed When It Counts

When you're facing a cash flow crisis or market disruption, you don't have three months for analysis. We move quickly when the situation demands it.

Who You'll Actually Work With

Small team. Everyone actually knows finance. No junior consultants learning on your dime.

Fergus Bannerman

Founder and Principal Consultant

I spent twelve years in corporate finance watching businesses struggle with adaptation problems that were entirely fixable. Left in 2018 to work directly with the owners who needed help most.

Spent most of my career in manufacturing and retail — industries where margins are tight and you can't hide behind venture capital funding. That experience shapes how I approach every client situation.

When I'm not working with clients, I'm usually tinkering with financial models or reading case studies about business turnarounds. Not because I have to — I just find this stuff genuinely interesting.

How We Actually Work With Clients

No cookie-cutter processes. But there is a general flow to how we figure things out together.

1
Initial business assessment and financial review process

Start With What's Actually Happening

We dig into your financials, talk to key people, and figure out where the problems actually are. Not where you think they might be — where the data says they are. This usually takes two to three weeks and involves asking uncomfortable questions about things you might prefer not to discuss.

2
Strategic planning session with financial analysis

Build Options That Could Work

We develop two or three realistic paths forward. Each one comes with actual numbers — not aspirational projections, but what's achievable given your constraints. Sometimes none of the options are fun. But at least you'll know what you're choosing between.

3
Implementation and business adaptation support

Help You Actually Implement

This is where most consulting relationships fall apart. We stick around to help you execute the plan — not doing it for you, but working alongside your team to handle the inevitable complications that come up. Usually means weekly check-ins for three to six months.

Not Sure If We're Right for Your Situation?

Let's have a straightforward conversation about what you're dealing with. No sales pitch. Just an honest assessment of whether we can actually help.
